Denis Cosmas Rwebandiza is a results-oriented horticulturist and agricultural project officer specializing in food security, nutrition, and climate-smart agriculture. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Sokoine University of Agriculture and brings five years of extensive experience implementing and coordinating community- and school-based agricultural projects with RECODA, including Kilimo Endelevu Arusha (KEA), Farmers Research Networks (FRN), AGRI CONNECT, and NOURISH.
His expertise includes training farmers in agroecological practices, Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), and Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA), alongside establishing and managing demonstration plots and Poultry Mother Units (PMUs). He applies participatory approaches, including RIPAT and Bango Kilimo, to strengthen practical learning, community engagement, and the adoption of sustainable farming practices. He is also skilled in installing dam liners and drip irrigation systems to improve water conservation and efficient irrigation.
Combining strong field implementation skills with proficiency in digital data collection tools such as ODK and KoboToolbox, Denis supports evidence-based project monitoring and informed decision-making.
